Heh, no no, that's not it at all. It's like... the entire world's in one little drop and then the sand comes and it's no more 'cause the sand doesn't like the water. -- I know you like the water and the sand, but you're not the universe. Ya gotta think big. Real big! Like... huge! 'cause everythin's in there. We're in there. But we all crushed together so we don't really matter. -- No, Vinny. See it all fits together and goes 'round and 'round, swirlin' us all together. -- You're hopeless. Just go play in the rocks or somethin'. I wanna play in the sand.
[Duo's going to flop around in the snow wearing nothing except his usual outfit (see profile for picture). Surprisingly, the Malnosso sent him back with his clothes and all his "toys". It's like they want something to happen.]
(ooc: That's right kids. Duo's back, but he's messed up. The Malnosso have spent the last few weeks pumping Duo full of every drug and toxin they thought he might handle, not to mention those chosen by Hijiri. The poor musician was forced to choose from a collection of syringes, under the threat that the Malnosso would just use them all and kill Duo if he didn't choose. Duo has needle tracks up and down both of his arms, very visible with his rolled up sleeves. To repay Hijiri's "chance to save his lover", Duo chose to have his hands crushed rather than let the Malnosso harm Hijiri's perfect hands. He's also badly malnourished and dehydrated since he was only given enough to keep him alive. The last cocktail he received seems to have him convinced he's talking to a crab on a very nice beach.)
EDIT: Duo's hands have been healed by Rubedo. He's also been taken to the clinic several times, but manages to keep escaping. Apparently he's still 02 even when drugged.
