Needs a Favor

Alright, I need someone who knows 'bout magic and stuff. I wanna put a spell into a piece of jewelery and I don't know how. Need someone ta help me or put the spell in it. Actually, I need ta do it twice.

Apparently I need someone who's skilled with enchantments. The long-term, doesn't wear off kinda thing.

[Duo's stolen the necklace he gave to Hijiri for Valentine's Day. Hopefully the musician doesn't notice that it's been replaced by a duplicate. Then again, Duo's acting suspicious, sticking close to Hijiri's side since he doesn't have the protection of the necklace and he's hiding his journal.]

(ooc: Also, Nami, is it alright to say that Duo already stole it? I know we were going to do something with that, but Duo needs it for plot. We can say he stole it in the shower while the soap and Duo's hair was distracting?)

Yeah? So? 's not like I'm gunna go tell people 'bout this stuff. Hell, they don't even know I was there. I just glance through ta make sure people aren't up ta somethin'.

Ummmmm... [Duo flips through a couple entries and reads out bits of the written or plays parts of the voice. He hack a few things and reads out part of those. Really pretty standard stuff as Duo breathes a little easier. He actually managed to distract Hijiri from his suspicious activity.]

[listens as he finishes his breakfast] Just everyone's doing alright. [gathers up his breakfast things and goes wash up]

Then ya shouldn't be upset when I lick your lips for ya.

[Duo waits just a moment before following after Hijiri. He really can't help himself. He has to keep an eye on Hijiri or do something to make sure he knows Hijiri is protected.]

[sighs softly then ruffles Duo's hair] You really are a puppy~

[and he's at the sink washing up when he suddenly feels Duo pressing against him from behind] Mn? [he leans his head back a bit] What's the matter?

[grins] Ya seem ta like your puppy~

[Duo curls his body around his slightly taller lover so his nose is against his shoulder.] Nothin'. Just don't wanna be far from ya so I might as well be as close as possible.

[laughs] You're being silly again~ I'm going to have you stuck to me all day today then?

[barks with a grin]

[Duo huffs so hot air blows from his nose against Hijiri's shoulder.] I'm not silly. I missed you. And I don't have ta be stuck to ya. Just thought it was nice.

[shivers a bit at that] I know you did. You made that very clear last night~ This is kind of nice~

So you're not mad 'bout me bein' this close and followin' you around~?

Not yet~ [and finishes the washing up then just leans against Duo] But don't you have anything to do today besides stick close to me? I thought you had a restaurant to run.

[colony_brat]

[Duo lifts his arms to wrap them around Hijiri and hold him.] I run the place so if I wanna take a day off, I can. People'll just have ta make pizza themselves or wait 'til tomorrow.

Mn... what do you want to do then? We can stand here all day like this~

Think your legs'll get tired before too long. You can do whatever it is ya wanna do today. I'll just follow you 'round like your little puppy.

Hm... what should I do today then... I have been thinking of learning another instrument. Maybe the piano since we have one here already. So I was thinking of going to the library to see if there are any books that might be useful.

[colony_brat]

Whatever you wanna do, I'm gunna follow you. They probably have a few books on how ta play the piano. They have books on just 'bout everything else.

[chuckles] Yes dear~

[laughs at Duo being silly] You make it sound like we married~ Hurry then, darling~ ♥ [takes his hand and goes outside]

[Duo laughs too, but lets Hijiri tug him along.] I can't call ya dear 'less we're married~? Guess I'll have ta stick ta bright eyes and love.

[and off we go towards the marketplace] It's more the tone you said it in, I guess~ And that's what married people normally call each other, right~?

Wouldn't know. Guess it could be. I was tryin' ta sound like the guys when they're jokin' 'bout their wives so I guess so.
