Hey people! If you're hungry and got nothin' better ta do, come by Azzip. I'll make you a pizza. I won't even make ya do stupid stuff ta get it.

[Duo's going to grin at her and slip his way in so he can set up the pizza.] Just as pretty as ya were before and ya can't get mad at me 'cause you were s'pposed to be pretty for the event so no cold showers. You'll ruin my hair and make up.

[Takes out his journal~]

[Duo's going to back up a little and shake his head.] Do I have to?

[Damn, that wasn't the refusal he was going for. Neither is the pouting. He was going to a little more stern.]

-Nope, something about what Duo said just does her in. Slowly, she begins to cry, slinking down to the floor.-

_{[Locke shakes his head, spreading his hands in a "who knows" gesture.]} Who can tell why they do what they do in the first place? They have to have their reasons for bringing us here in the first place, even if it's just that they're completely insane. _{[Speaking from personal experience there.]} But they're never going to tell us about them. And there has to be a reason for bringing the people they do, because I'm probably more human than you and yet I'm here. Maybe it's something they do during the kidnappings; maybe everyone has some sort of power that isn't dependent on any abilities they have. But it makes an awful kind of sense. It's like putting coal on a fire before it burns down.

[Duo jerks around like someone shoved ice in his pants. He'll drop to the ground next to her and try to get a look at her face.] What? Don't cry. What'd I say? You can hit me with magic if ya want. You can even throw me into a wall again. Just don't cry. Please don't cry. I hate it when girls cry. I'll go away if I made you upset. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.

[Duo's going to sigh before smiling and looking pretty for the camera. If there are going to be pictures, they might as well be good pictures.]

[Dieb's going to huff and hop onto the table so she can sniff around Jenny's bottle.] You guys are boring. Don't you do anything fun?

We can have fun later. Go look for mice in the woodpile.

I already did that. There aren't any more mice.

Well too bad. Now shush. [He'll look back at Jenny.] Yeah, lucky for the rest of us who still wanna flirt with ya, but don't mean anything by it. Ya know, we should get together and play more pranks on Ru...

[Oh look, a smile. Of course, she'll be ignoring that flirting part.]

Well, I'll be up for that. Though you'll have to wait a few days. There's a few things I want to figure out before I see Jr again.

I don't... I don't know why I'm crying. I don't want to be like this...

[Duo nods.] Yeah, I don't wanna be pullin' anything on 'im right now. Doubt he's in the mood to appreciate it. Just stupid things, but somethin' funny. Like hittin' him with cold water when he's in the shower. Maybe replace all his clothes with dresses. Put everythin' up where he can't reach it.

[She laughs.]

Well, I didn't replace his clothes with dresses, but I do recall him dressing up in very nice gown.

[Duo reaches up to rub the tears from her face.] It'll be alright. You're not gunna hit me with a spell or something if I hug you, are ya? I don't wanna see you upset like this.

[Duo's going to laugh too.] Bet he's real pretty dressed up too, huh? Need ta get that boy a tiara ta go with the gowns.

How about a pointy princess hat, because I do believe that was wearing.

[more laughing] Oh yeah, somethin' in yellow or maybe a purple so it won't clash with his hair or somethin'.

-She shook her head, actually clinging to him without prompt. She didn't care at the moment. She just needed something...-

[Duo flicks at his skirt a little and rearranges the puppy ears on his head. At least Hijiri's letting him keep his braid.] S'ppose whatever you want ta do with me~

[Duo really can't stand against a crying girl. The girls in the gang when he was a kid had to be protected more than the boys. People would take a little girl off the street if they weren't careful. So Duo really can't do anything besides hold her and rock a little.] It's alright. You're alright. I'm even behavin' myself. You don't have to cry. Hey, at least I stuffed a bra so you can have tissues. I've got ya.

[Duo will stick out a smooth leg. He didn't shave, but a quick burst of fire does wonders at removing hair.] Yeah, 's why I don't mind wearin' a skirt so much. I still look good.

[He'll set a glass down on the table for her. At least lemonade is nice and simple so he doesn't mess it up. Sugar, water, lemon he can handle.]

[Don't remind him of it, Duo...] Mnnn... well, I'm hungry, my maid should serve me something to eat~

It will have to be something easy since your maid is better at lookin' pretty than cookin'.
