[Duo grins in response. He really would like to play with one.]

Mmmmmm other. You can say I'm one of the other guys. Just five of us. Well, there's the Tallgeese and Epyon and Zero... there's not a lot of 'em and 'Scythe's one of a kind.

[Duo's instantly very excited.] You can!? Do it! I mean yes please! That would be great!

[smiles a bit and nods then he holds out a hand and a communication visor thing appears out of thin air. He hands it to Duo.] I've tried contacting Gingetsu on this... but it doesn't work here.

Yeah, they're special made and each one of a kind. Buy mine's best.

[Duo takes it and instantly starts to tinker with it.] That is so great. Shame it doesn't work. I could use these.

[Watches as Duo tinkers with it, smiling a bit.] Would you... like to see some teleportation as well? I usually need my teleportation cage to move something big... but I should be able to teleport something small without it.

Sure! I gotta friend who can teleport himself and a passenger around, but I wanna see someone else do it too. Do you just will it or what?

Well... [he looks round] I'll teleport that plate over there onto this table.

[He holds his hands in front of himself and a sort of holographic Rubik's cube appears between his hands and he starts twisting it this way and that. The plate slowly disappears bit by bit, little square bits actually if Duo pays close attention. Then the plate reappears on their table in the same way and when the teleportation is complete, Lan sighs, puts his hands down and the holograph vanishes.]

Yeah. [chuckles] He does it on accident when he sneezes.

[Duo's eyes go back and forth from the plate to his hands to the forming plate and back.] THAT IS SO COOL! Okay, that was too loud. Sorry. You're alright, right? There's a power cap on this place. Shoulda said somethin' before ya did that. That's nothin' like what Rae does. Not even close.

Gotta take it apart ta see how it works and ta mess with it. I can't play with the insides if the outsides are still on it.

Oh er... my ummm... well I guess people would normally say boyfriend.

[He's lucky Lan doesn't really know how relationships work or that a guy having a boyfriend is supposed to be strange... he smiles like it's the most normal thing in the world]

[That's good. Duo's always a little worried he's going to have to punch a new friend in the face because they don't like gays or something.]

Naw, he's a musician. Plays the violin, sometimes on the stage over there.

Yeah, I get ta watch him practice everyday. Well, I can if I don't stay here all day. Or distract him. 's not like we have a lotta choice here anyway. 's either live music or no music.

... oh, I guess ya wouldn't have. I bet I can get Hijiri ta play for ya. He likes attention and havin' an audience. Or maybe Sheik. He doesn't like the attention as much, but he likes his music.
