[She is quiet for a moment, then she starts rambling a bit. She knows they've joked about this but... it's different now that it's actually really going to happen...] Actually, I came over to Azzip to tell you something... but then there were suddenly so many strange people in the streets and then you dropped your pizza... anyway, you do remember how I haven't been feeling too well for the past few days, right? And, well, I went to the clinic today and... you're going to be a father, Duo.

[Duo stiffens and holds very still. If he moves, he might break whatever spell or illusion this is, or something. He also doesn't have the brain power to make his body move. He's too busy trying to figure this out. Could the Malnosso really have been this cruel? Could they really have brought him Hijiri, pregnant, only to tear her away from him a few days when the experiment is over? He would kill them all and revel in the feeling of their blood on his hands as he paid back all of this torture.] It's Luceti. I guess I have ta take you back to the house. Hopefully Hijiri'll think this is as funny as when I told him. Pregnant... and I won't even be able ta keep you long 'nough ta hold our son...

[Apparently he has some control again because he moves his hand down to her stomach, very low, and holds it there where he knows their handsome son is growing. This was far too cruel.]

[Hijiri is truly lost now and scared. Why is Duo reacting like that? She thought he would be happy about the baby and now he's saying how he isn't going to be able to keep her for long... Is Duo planning to leave her? Is he leaving her because she is pregnant? He wouldn't- this is completely unlike him. What is going on?]

Won't... won't be able to keep me? W-what are you talking about Duo? [She reaches out to hold his arm.] Don't leave me.

[Then he's suddenly holding a hand over her womb.] Duo?

[Duo realizes he's said the completely wrong thing since she has no idea what's going on in his head and hearing only what he says. He moves his hand so he can hug her tightly before pulling her out the backdoor of Azzip and away from the noise of the people in the main part. This is definitely alone time talk and thankfully the new people are staying out of the alley.] I never wanna leave you. Never. But you were just a daydream I had while standing and eatin' some Japanese food. The sorta notta pizza stuff. Not the point. Then you, the real... not real 'cause you're here and real... the original, male you came and made fun of me. I told him 'bout the daydream and he teased me, but was worried I didn't love 'im 'cause he couldn't give me kids. He doesn't get that I'm happy with just him. Sure, kids 'id be great and fun, but I don't have ta have 'em to love them. Now you're here and real and just at the point in time where we started havin' kids and I know you can't stay here. You have ta be like the others, the fake New Feathers, and they're gunna send you back and I'll never be able ta hold my son and smile at you or watch you laugh as the twins and I get into some kind of trouble or make princesses outta our little girls and it's just cruel and unfair 'cause you're here and so close, but I'm gunna have ta let you go and it's tearin' me up.

[Duo finally manages to run out of breath as he runs his hands over Hijiri's face. He sounds more and more desperate as he goes on.]

[She follows him outside and listens silently then she reaches out to touch his cheek...] You're not... really my Duo then? This means you are another version of him, right? [Since that made it easier to understand. easier than how she was supposedly just part of his imagination and she really was in her version of Luceti till just a while ago.]

[She leans towards his touch, but something nags at her after hearing all that] ... just how many children do we have?

[Duo thinks about that for a moment.] I guess I could be. This could be a different Luceti than yours.

[Duo sighs.] Six. You're carryin' our son now. Then a daughter, twins, and then two girls. Heh, we even managed ta have a blonde girl. I can't believe you didn't kill me when I thought she couldn't be our child or somethin'.

I see... I'll have to get back then. He... he will be happy about the baby, right?

[She blinks at him.] S-six? [She'd thought she'd have two at most. But six?] Blonde? Like Hisoka? [She looks a little unhappy at that] ... of course she's yours. Who else's baby could it possibly be...?

[Duo looks at her for a moment before grinning.] He'll panic, be really over protective, and follow every order and desire you so much as think. But he'll be happy, eventually, when he calms down. It's me we're talkin' about.

[They were busy~] I didn't say I was makin' sense! I was holdin' a gorgeous little girl with blond hair! I thought the Malnosso got to you or messed ya up or I don't know! She's mine though. Was mine. Er... whatever. She's nothin' like Hisoka though. She's a happy, smiling little girl. Will be.... This is weird.

[She smiles, feeling a little better and she holds a hand over her unborn child.] That is like him ne...

[... too busy... and she laughs]

Yep. I should know, right? He might not say it enough, but he loves ya and this might notta be something he planned, but he'll be happy. 'sides, your first son's gunna be like you. He'll play music just as well as his mom, be just as much of a heartbreaker, and be so quiet, if I didn't know he was my son- er if he didn't know he's his son, your Duo would swear he's adopted. If anything, it'll make me- Duo calm down a little... for a while.

I know he does. It's just that he still gets so paranoid sometimes.And I suppose this would have happened sooner or later... considering... [She blushes lightly]

Musical and quiet. I suppose that means he won't give us too much trouble? No wonder we will have other children...

Kinda funny ta think of another me in another world, but glad ta know they didn't change him. [He knows just what she's trying not to say.]

Yep. Things are pretty easy 'til the twins. They're us in all the horrible glory. Okay, probably more me since I taught 'em way too many tricks, but I say they got your charm and evil ideas.

[Blushes more]

[Smiles] I'm sure they'll be more like you than me.

Hey! You can be evil too. I distinctly remember someone teasin' me all the time just ta see me get all worked up.

[Smiles a little coyly] But you're fun to tease~

[Duo snorts and chuckles.] Good ta see you're the same in both worlds too.

And you're just as cute~ So are we going to stand outside the whole day, or are you going to get me something to eat~?

[Duo laughs and shoos her back through the back door and to the kitchen table.] 'course I'll feed ya. Good ta see you're just as demandin' too. So what's the pretty devil want? Pickles?

[Duo can't help teasing her. It's way too early for food cravings, but if he doesn't get scolded by her at least a little, he's just not trying hard enough to be himself.]

[She's going to pout at that. Such a pretty little pout too~] No... I do feel like having something sweet though.

[Duo smiles at her and wrinkles his nose a little.] You're just as pretty as I dreamed. I'll make you a jam pizza. Strawberry's good?

[Duo's already rolling out dough and then soon tossing it.]

Awww... only just as pretty? Mn. Strawberry sounds good.

[She sits down at one of the tables.]

You're just a lotta things~ Now stop tryin' ta make me do somethin' that'll get me in trouble with my Hijiri. Not sure how I would explain ta him how I ended up in the closet here with a female version of himself and how I got a hickie he didn't give me.

[Duo finishes up the pizza pretty quickly. He has plenty of practice. He tosses it into the oven for a few minutes and goes to the icebox to see what he has.] Got any requests for a drink? If you're pregnant, should give you some milk. It's good for ya.

I'm not trying to make you do anything... though it could be fun since you can't really get me any more pregnant but my Duo wouldn't really like.

Fruit juice. But I don't really like the taste of milk...

[Duo blinks at her slowly, like he can't believe she just suggested... no, she must be suggesting something else... oh who's he kidding. This his Hijiri. Of course she could suggest something like that.] I think we'd both get in trouble even if I couldn't make ya any more pregnant than ya already are.

[Duo gets her a glass of juice and sets it on the table.] I know, but you should drink it anyway. 's good for you and the baby 'cause he's gunna need a lotta calcium.

But you would do it if you wouldn't get in trouble~ You would do it if I were your Hijiri~

[takes a sip of fruit juice then sighs softly] ... I guess so. I'll have to start watching what I eat. Though I guess the other you would be making sure I eat all kinds of nutritious foods, not matter how terrible some of them taste...
