[It's a good thing Duo's not holding anything breakable because he'd drop it. Now he can only drop his jaw and stare at her.] What?

[You'd think he'd be used to this sort of thing, but she's so pretty and sweet and what in the hell could she have married?]

[stare] WHAT?

[just smiles] Yes? Is something wrong?

[and better not tell Duo that the earring on her left ear is actually her husband's eye... as it's apparently the tradition for male demons to give their left eyes to the person they have decided to be with for life...]

[Duo holds a hand up and rests his head against the table for a moment. He's very still. Finally he lifts his head again and just smiles a little blankly.] Apparently nothing! Nothin' wrong with a pretty angel lovin' and marryin' ta son of Satan himself. Nope. Nothin' wrong with him existing either. Nope. Everythin's just fine. He's not gunna show up and eat people or anythin', is he?

I don't know if he's going to turn up or not but he's not going to eat anyone. He promised me not to anymore.

Oh that's good! As long as he's not doing it anymore than we should be fine. Don't have ta hide the women or children at all, right? Good good.

He's actually a rather nice person.
