[Action and Voice]

[Kid's running around outside of House 33 chasing bugs. He's never really seen something like them, being from a controlled environment. As the sun goes down, he's truely enchanted by the lightning bugs that come out. His journal's near by because he wants to make sure nothing happens to his comm.]

Wow, Dieb! This is so cool! Stop looking for umm... mice around the house and come play with me. Look! They glow!

Hunting is fun too and I'm hungry. Stay here and we can play in a little while.

Fine, but I'm going to catch all the glowing bugs without you! [He's shoving them in a little jar Haseo gave him before letting him go out.]

Hunting for mice and bugs? I wish I could do that, too. How many have you caught?

Ummm... I got a bunch of them! My jar's all glowy and it's really cool and lots of fun. You can come play too!

Are you sure you want to have an older person like me around? What if I can't keep up with you?

You'll just have to bring your own jar to put them in. Than ya don't have ta keep up with me, but you're not old so you'll be fine and we can have lots of fun!

[giggles] If you're sure. [clinking as she rummages through a cupboard] Where are you?

Yeah! It's fun and it's more fun to have fun with friends so you should come and play! I'm outside! It's house 33. Hurry up before I catch them all.

[laughs] Okay, I'll be there in a few minutes. Leave some there for me!

Okay! [The journal picks up the sound of him running away from the journal and after another bug.]

[Koyomi arrives with a jar of her own and waves, trying to catch his attention that way first.]

[He'll run around for another mintue before catching sight of someone else.] Yay! You can play now too! There's some over there! [He points a little toward the river, not really close though, and runs over there.]

(ooc: I forget, did she tell Kid her name?)

Wait for me!

[She says that but takes her time heading in the same direction as Duo. Once she's close enough, she asks him a question.]

Do you have any tips on how to be a great bug catcher?

[ooc: She did, but only her first name!]

Yeah! You have to be faster and run after them! [He holds up his jar with a couple very dizzy fireflies in it for proof.] See? That's how you get lots of them.

Let's see if I can do that! [She starts chasing after a group of fireflies, catching four or five.] What do you think? You might need to give me more pointers. [She winks at him.]

[He claps, even if it's awkward since he's surprised at how well she did that.] Nope! You're really good at this! [He'll take off and try to make up for how many she caught by catching his own.]

[So many of them got away! Having a kid clap for her is slightly amusing, but she doesn't think about it too much. Quick to catch onto his enthusiasm, she runs off to chase more down.] What are you catching them for?

Ummmmm.... because they glow and it's fun I guess. It's fun having a jar of glowing bugs to use for a little light. [He shoves a couple more of the little things in his jar and holds it up again.] See? It's pretty.

It is pretty. [She catches two more.] When we're done, you can have my jar, too.

But what are you going to look at tonight? You should keep it so you can see them all night.

I'll be sleeping all night. [She holds her jar out to look at the light moving inside.]

Well before you go to sleep, silly. They're really pretty. Ooo! [He chases after a really bright one.]

[Laughs.] Okay, if you don't want an extra jar of them.

[He chases the really bright one for a while before getting it and stuffing it in the jar. He runs back to show Koyomi his jar again.] Wow, that one's really big and bright. Look at it.

It is! [She peers into the jar.] Is there going to be enough room? You caught so many.

[He puzzles over the jar.] I guess I should stop now...

[She thinks he might be disappointed, so she offers her jar.] Mine isn't full. How about catching more for me?
