Don't Go Into The Light

[Voice]

[The journal clicks on and Duo's voice is strong but almost airy. It's almost like he's not paying attention to what he's doing. His eyes are glazed and distant in the little picture.]

I just wanted to let everyone know that I love Hijiri Minase. I love everythin' about him from his strong, calloused, violin-playin' fingers to his slight body to his hypnotizing, green eyes. I love the devilish side of him that flirts and plays just as much as I do. I love the way he accepts my bloodied hands and flirtatious attitude. I love how jealous he can be and how he saves himself just for me. He makes me feel special. I want to stay in this place just to be with him and to hell with my world. I wake up from nightmares where I had to return and never see him again. I wanna take care of and please him more than I've wanted anyone else. I really feel like a servant to him, but I'm happy with it. I feel needed again.

[There's a pause and he almost sways for a moment before he speaks again.]

I'm sorry, Has. It'll probably hurt you to hear that, but it's all true. I still care 'bout you, but it's different. I'm still here for ya and I still love ya in a way like how I love Kam. Don't hate me for this.

[The journal never really turns off. Duo just wanders away to do his usual morning stuff including a shower and going shopping for stuff for Azzip. After a while of silence, the journal apparently gets bored and turns itself off.]

(ooc: That's right people. Curiosity might have killed the cat, but it hypnotized the pilot. He was out for his morning run (which now happens in the dark since the days are so short) when he saw the swinging light. Like a good soldier, he tried to gather intel before rushing in... that means he stared at it for too long. Duo hates the word love and even worse, he hates being public about it. I figured this was the most out of character thing he could do. Still, it's all true so there you go. Duo will think this was a dream if he's questioned, but the entry's been blocked from deletion by his own hacking skills. It's not going anywhere even after he finds out about it.)

[is cooking the eggs when Duo gets back and looks over] They are supposed to. But I guess if the Malnosso are able to pull people from different worlds and time- [tastes his cooking a bit then adds more salt] -they can do the same with fruits.

Wonder if it's easier ta grow 'em or steal 'em from other worlds. I keep leavin' any fruit I can't identify. Guess we could start askin' people ta point out other fruits ta try. Could be fun. Maybe pick up abok and look 'em up. [He washes the fruit as he cuts it and starts decorating a plate with the clean cuts.] I branched out and picked up some kiwi and mango. They're s'pposed ta be a little tangy, right? Should be good. [He slurps up a slice of orange and grins.] Is good.

Steal them I guess. Growing them takes a lot of work after all. [puts the scrambled eggs on 2 plates] Yeah, it would be fun to try fruits from other worlds. [comes over to take a piece of mango] It is good~

Guess you're right. 'less it take a lotta work ta steal stuff from our worlds. Don't know. [Duo turns his head to kiss Hijiri's lips lightly before carrying the plate of fruit over to the table.] You want some juice? I got... well I think it's fruit punch so it's not really juice.

[returns the light kiss and follows with the eggs and toast] Fruit punch? You made it?

More like mixed some leftover juices together. Juice from some pinapple, orange juice I had with breakfast, some cherry juice from a dessert pizza. 's pretty good for somethin' I came up with.

Hm... I see. I guess there's no harm in trying it.

Hey! I won't give ya anythin' I made that's not good enough for ya. Well, 'least won't give ya anythin' that can make ya sick. [Duo comes back to the table with two glasses of juice.] So ya got everythin' ya need for a breakfast?

I hope it doesn't make me sick~ [looks at everything on the table] Should be enough to last me till lunch~

[sticks his tongue out] I said it won't. [He slides into one of the seats and starts scooping up some of the scrabled eggs with a bite of toast.] Mmm... good eggs.

I'll believe you... for now~ [eats a bit of egg as well] Of course they are~ I made them after all.

[chuckles] My proud devil~ [He occasionally picks up pices of fruit between bites of eggs.]

Just confident~ ♥ [puts the rest of the eggs on his toast then tries a bit of the punch when he's done with it] ...hm... not bad... I guess.

[Rather than stick out his tongue, Duo just opens his mouth to show partically chewed toast in eggs in a particularly nasty show of boyhood retaliation.] Not bad for bein' mixed by a guy who mixes explosives rather than food. Ya know, maybe I should withhold the rest a your breakfast if you're not gunna be nice~ An idol should be nice ta his most devoted fan, right?

Duo! That's disgusting!

I am being nice~ Just have high expectations, that's all.

'course it is! That's the point. [He grins as he finishes off his eggs and toast and goes back to the fruit.]

[lifts an eyebrow] Oh? Well ya might be requestin' too much for a terrorist who doesn't cook much.

You're going to make me lose my appetite for anything if you keep that up.

But you seem to improve so much quicker with a bit of pressure~

[Duo offers a slice of kiwi with his fingers as apology.] Aw, don't want that.

Up to a point. I had a hard enough time learnin' ta make pizza. My dough and sauce still isn't good as Kam or Quatre's. I can't even make good dough for a dessert pizza. But I'm sure if ya wanted to add pressure other places, I could be better at some stuff~

[leans over to take the slice, sucking lightly on Duo's fingers as he moves away to show that he accepted the apology]

What sort of places~?

[Duo smiles back and offers him another piece of dripping fruit.]

Well! You could always try makin' me practice other talents than my cookin'. Maybe how I move my tongue, or how long I can hold my breath. Maybe a little more exercise for my abs or my legs~ [Really he should have his emotions pushed more, but he's not sayin' it.]

[leans over again, takes it then licks the juice from Duo's fingers]

I see~ And maybe to get you to do more sweet and cute things for me~ ♥

[smiles more] So ya haven't lost your appetite, have ya?

I brought ya fruit for breakfast and cut it up for ya. 's that not enough?

I think I've got some of it back~

Hm, well what else can I do ta help ya get it back. [He picks up a piece for himself and sucks his fingers clean.]

Then what does my devil want?

Hm... feed me more fruit~?

Things like how just the other day you left that nice shirt on the bed, all wrapped up nicely with that very sweet note attached~ ♥
