Don't Go Into The Light

[Voice]

[The journal clicks on and Duo's voice is strong but almost airy. It's almost like he's not paying attention to what he's doing. His eyes are glazed and distant in the little picture.]

I just wanted to let everyone know that I love Hijiri Minase. I love everythin' about him from his strong, calloused, violin-playin' fingers to his slight body to his hypnotizing, green eyes. I love the devilish side of him that flirts and plays just as much as I do. I love the way he accepts my bloodied hands and flirtatious attitude. I love how jealous he can be and how he saves himself just for me. He makes me feel special. I want to stay in this place just to be with him and to hell with my world. I wake up from nightmares where I had to return and never see him again. I wanna take care of and please him more than I've wanted anyone else. I really feel like a servant to him, but I'm happy with it. I feel needed again.

[There's a pause and he almost sways for a moment before he speaks again.]

I'm sorry, Has. It'll probably hurt you to hear that, but it's all true. I still care 'bout you, but it's different. I'm still here for ya and I still love ya in a way like how I love Kam. Don't hate me for this.

[The journal never really turns off. Duo just wanders away to do his usual morning stuff including a shower and going shopping for stuff for Azzip. After a while of silence, the journal apparently gets bored and turns itself off.]

(ooc: That's right people. Curiosity might have killed the cat, but it hypnotized the pilot. He was out for his morning run (which now happens in the dark since the days are so short) when he saw the swinging light. Like a good soldier, he tried to gather intel before rushing in... that means he stared at it for too long. Duo hates the word love and even worse, he hates being public about it. I figured this was the most out of character thing he could do. Still, it's all true so there you go. Duo will think this was a dream if he's questioned, but the entry's been blocked from deletion by his own hacking skills. It's not going anywhere even after he finds out about it.)

[Rather than stick out his tongue, Duo just opens his mouth to show partically chewed toast in eggs in a particularly nasty show of boyhood retaliation.] Not bad for bein' mixed by a guy who mixes explosives rather than food. Ya know, maybe I should withhold the rest a your breakfast if you're not gunna be nice~ An idol should be nice ta his most devoted fan, right?

Duo! That's disgusting!

I am being nice~ Just have high expectations, that's all.

'course it is! That's the point. [He grins as he finishes off his eggs and toast and goes back to the fruit.]

[lifts an eyebrow] Oh? Well ya might be requestin' too much for a terrorist who doesn't cook much.

You're going to make me lose my appetite for anything if you keep that up.

But you seem to improve so much quicker with a bit of pressure~

[Duo offers a slice of kiwi with his fingers as apology.] Aw, don't want that.

Up to a point. I had a hard enough time learnin' ta make pizza. My dough and sauce still isn't good as Kam or Quatre's. I can't even make good dough for a dessert pizza. But I'm sure if ya wanted to add pressure other places, I could be better at some stuff~

[leans over to take the slice, sucking lightly on Duo's fingers as he moves away to show that he accepted the apology]

What sort of places~?

[Duo smiles back and offers him another piece of dripping fruit.]

Well! You could always try makin' me practice other talents than my cookin'. Maybe how I move my tongue, or how long I can hold my breath. Maybe a little more exercise for my abs or my legs~ [Really he should have his emotions pushed more, but he's not sayin' it.]

[leans over again, takes it then licks the juice from Duo's fingers]

I see~ And maybe to get you to do more sweet and cute things for me~ ♥

[smiles more] So ya haven't lost your appetite, have ya?

I brought ya fruit for breakfast and cut it up for ya. 's that not enough?

I think I've got some of it back~

I want more~ ♥

Hm, well what else can I do ta help ya get it back. [He picks up a piece for himself and sucks his fingers clean.]

Then what does my devil want?

Hm... feed me more fruit~?

Things like how just the other day you left that nice shirt on the bed, all wrapped up nicely with that very sweet note attached~ ♥

[Duo grabs another piece and holds it up for him.] S'ppose I could do that.

[Duo's not blushing... really... he isn't. It's warm in there.] I found it the other day and thought it'd look nice with your eyes. It wasn't anythin' special...

[moves to lie half on his own chair and half on Duo's lap, then opens his mouth wide] Ahh~

[smiles widely] Yes, it was~ You went to all that trouble to find wrapping paper and a bow to match it. Then wrote a note for it~ ♥ Big, scary shinigami is turning sweet and sappy ne~~ ♥ I liked it very, very much though~

[Duo grins and sets the piece of fruit on Hijiri's tongue. His free arm comes up to help support him comfortably.] Think I like this~

[Seriously, it's just hot.] Shoulda known you were gunna be a bad influence on me. Glad ya liked it. I said I'd try...

[takes the fruit into his mouth and chews slowly on it] Mn. It's comfortable~

[chuckles softly] I want more things like that then~

Then you'll just have ta stay here for a bit. [He pulls the plate closer and picks up another piece. He offers it to Hijiri.]

I'll see if I can think a anythin' else like that I can do... what's your favorite dessert?

Mn. [opens wide to receive the next piece of fruit]

Okay~ Hm? Favourite dessert... [he smiles] You~ ♥ [laughs lightly] Hm... caramel pudding, I guess. Haven't had that for such a long time.

[slips it in and then paints the juice on his fingers around Hijiri's soft lips]

Well, you can have me for breakfast almost anytime ya want. [laughs too] I'll have ta find ya some. Between Kam, Quat, and the library, should be able ta come up wtih somethin' for ya.♥ If not, I'll just have ta coat myself in caramel~

[smiles then licks at his lips and Duo's fingers after he swallows the fruit]

Mn~ Though sound so delicious~ ♥

I'm gunna spoil ya like this~ [Another piece of fruit going into Duo's mouth before he picks up one for Hijiri.]

S'ppose I could always give ya both~ Then ya get both a your favorite desserts~

Too late~ ♥ [and opens his mouth obediently for the next piece]

That would be very, very nice~

S'ppose I've already done enough ta have ya spoiled. [slides the piece in and runs his fingers over Hijiri's tongue on the way out]

Then I'll have ta do it for ya. You want both at the same time or should I spread out the sweet and the gifts?

You certainly have~ [licks his fingers]

Hm... spread it out~

[grins down at him] Hope ya don't mind bein' spoiled and taken care of.
