[Action]

[Duo lifts himself from the tunnel entrance and slips through the shadows of town on his way back to his house. The shadows aren't perfect so of course he can be spotted from time to time, but he's still pretty good with the stealth. He's also tired and smelly. A few days running around the tunnels and then moving boxes wore him out pretty well.]

[Hijiri is now scrubbing the floor under the sink, back towards the door and still doesn't know there's someone else in the house]

[Duo stares at the sight for a moment, very happy to be back. His feet are still soft as he gets closer and kneels down behind Hijiri. He's not thinking about how badly he's going to scare his lover. He's just thinking about how badly he's missed him. He drapes himself over Hijiri's back before lowering himself and wrapping his arms around Hijiri's waist. Duo doesn't know, but this should keep Hijiri from jumping and bashing his head into the sink.] Missed ya, love.

[Hijiri tenses and he stops scrubbing when he feels someone right behind him. His heart starts racing and pounds in his ears. He quickly thinks of anything he can use as some sort of weapon, so he grabs the bottle of bathroom cleaner and removes the cap, ready to splash it into his would-be-attacker's face then kick whoever it is in the crotch and run. He's about to carry out that little defensive plan when familiar arms wrap round him then there's Duo's voice. He looks over his shoulder] D-Duo? Duo! [he smiles, relaxing a lot and lets go of the bottle, crawls out from other the sink and hugs him tightly] Duo... don't you ever do that again. I almost blinded you with bathroom cleaner.

What? [He has no idea what Hijiri's talking about. He really wasn't thinking about how he was walking around silently and just scared the crap out of his lover. That doesn't stop him from hugging back.]

[pulls away from the hug a bit and looks at him seriously for a moment] You scared me. Don't you usually announce your arrival? I didn't hear you come in and when I felt someone behind me I thought it was the Malnosso or something... I was going to splash that [points a gloved finger towards the strong cleaner] in your face and kick you in the crotch. Don't do anything like that again.

[Duo blinks, still a little confused, but things are starting to make sense in his mind.] Yeah... I usually do. Shit, glad I don't live with Heero and 'Fei. They woulda shot me 'fore I could even put my stuff down. Then, I woulda had to get damn close for them 'ta catch me. I'm glad ya didn't blind me. That burns like hell.

[and now he's smiling] I'm proud of you! I wasn't totally in work mode, but ya noticed me and ya made a plan ta fight me. I'm so damn proud of ya. That was a good plan too. My smart devil~

[smiles back a bit] I told you I'd be fine by myself~ ♥ But still it's great to have you back. Now I can rely on you again to watch my back for me~

I've got such a clever devil. So wonderful~ [still grinning and very proud] Can I do more than watch your back? Guess I should clean up first. [rubs the back of his grimey head before looking disgusted with himself] Damn tunnels.

Alright. [chuckles softly as he starts stripping out of his gear, his nose slightly wrinkled at the mess. His shoulders are clearly a little stiff, but he's still moving well as he tries to keep his mess in a little pile.]

[picks up Duo's dirty laundry and takes them out to soak. It's a good thing he still has his apron and gloves on so he doesn't get too dirty]

[Duo feels a little bad about making such a mess, but he's quickly relaxing under the hot, hot water. He washes his hair several times, taking up a lot of time in there doing that alone before he wrings it out and steps out of the shower.]

[Hijiri comes back in a while later and finishes up his bathroom cleaning, puts everything away, cleans himself up a bit at the sink then changes back into his normal clothes and waits in the living room for Duo]

[Duo quickly grabs a towel and slips back into the shower so he doesn't make a mess on the clean floor. It's a quite a while before he comes into the living room, still toweling his hair and just wearing a pair of sweats. He's clearly filled out more since his kidnapping, but he still doesn't look like he did before. The scar on his chest stands out clearly as his battered cross swings back and forth.] Now, where were we? Think someone was welcomin' me back?

Hm? [Hijiri leans back to look at him from where he lay on the couch reading a music theory book since he has a new student now and is brushing up on his theory] Really~? I don't think I've seen anyone like that round here~

Really? Wonder if Ryu's hidin' in his room then~ Maybe I should go find 'im and see if he wants ta welcome me back~

[puts the book down and leans back more on the armrest to look up at him] I don't think he's back yet~ You're stuck with me for now~

Well, then maybe you should try welcomin' me back~ Wanna make sure I'm willin' ta keep hurryin' back, right~

[slowly smiles as he continues to gaze up at him] And how do I do that~?

[Duo squeezes a little more water out of his hair before a creative little move gets the towel wrapped around his neck and hot his hair.] Well~ A nice kiss would be a good place ta start~ Maybe a little care and attention for a weary terrorist~

[reaches a hand out for him, not moving from where he lay] Come over here then~

[Duo stalks over with a slight sway of his hips. It makes his abs ripple and flex. He leans over Hijiri so a piece of wet, curling hair falls over his shoulder and onto Hijiri.] How close~

[chuckles at how Duo's intentionally showing off then moves his head a bit to get the wet strand off his cheek] Depends on what kind of welcome you want~ Hm... lean down a bit more~

[Duo leans a little more and has to stretch out his wings to keep the entire mess from falling over his shoulder. Some of it escapes anyway as he leans down close to Hijiri's face.] This far 'nough?

[Hijiri shakes his head slightly again to get the hair out of his face] Good enough~ [then in a sudden move he grabs hold of Duo's hair and pulls him down for an upside-down kiss]
